Friars Gate Theatre boasts a 130 seater theatre which hosts a wide variety of performances, including music, theatre and drama presented by professional and amateur groups. It is also home to the town's heritage centre which interprets the heritage attractions of the Ballyhoura region through the medium of art.

Kilmallock Museum, taking a more conventional approach, reflects local life during the 19th and 20th centuries and is open to visitors 9.30am-5.30pm, Monday- Friday, or by appointment.

If you prefer a guided tour contact Kilmallock Museum, or you can download a free audio guide that leads you on a historical walk around the town taking in Kilmallock’s Dominican Priory and the Collegiate Church.

Combining outstanding countryside and wildlife, Ballyhoura Falconry offers visitors the opportunity to interact with Birds of Prey - some of our most majestic and awe inspiring creatures.

Take a one hour tour of JJ's Craft Brewery and learn about its history and the steps involved in brewing, starting with the grain and ending up with finished beers.
