For the cycling enthusiast Kilmallock Cycling Club is involved at all levels of cycling and touring. 

Kilmallock Cycle Hub cycle routes of varying length and level of difficulty will guide you out to the countryside of farmland and forest surrounding the historic walled town of Kilmallock.  

Ballyhoura Active Series races are organised over the spring and summer months at different venues ranging from 5k to half marathon distances.

Kilmallock / Kilfinane Angling Association is a fly fishing club that fishes the River Loobagh and upper Morning Star for wild brown trout and six competitions a year.

Ballyhoura Beo is a community service social enterprise that delivers outdoor recreation and environmental education to communities within the Ballyhoura region. As well as organising activities for local individuals and groups including guided walks, team bonding activity days, yoga, orienteering and kids camps, they also offer a service to groups visiting the Ballyhoura area who would like to take part in outdoor activities.

Kilmallock also has many sports clubs and community facilities including gaelic and soccer pitches. Badminton, camogie, polocrosse, athletics and health and fitness classes are all available in or near the town.
