Limerick St. Patrick's Festival Playlist

Get ready for St. Patrick's Day with some of Limerick’s leading musical talents. Listen to Limerick St. Patrick’s Festival playlist, exclusively celebrating Limerick bands and musicians. We invited some friends of the festival to share their favourite Limerick artists and tracks to create this unique Limerick playlist for the whole family to enjoy in the lead up to the festival running from 15th - 18th March.  

Contributors include: Conductor Andrew Jordan; Former Mayor of the City and County of Limerick Cllr. Daniel Butler; Limerick GAA; Lumen Street Theatre’s Martin Shannon; Limerick Museum Curator Matthew Potter; author and presenter Meghann Scully; DJ and podcaster Olivia Chau, and student and podcaster Pádraig O’Callaghan. 

Among the featured artists are: Anna’s Anchor; Beoga; Denise Chaila; Emma Langford; Fox Jaw; Hermitage Green; James Hanley; John Steele; Lost Boys; Paddy Mulcahy; Raging Sons; Rusangano Family; The Cranberries and The Hitchers. – Olivia Chau’s nominations to be included  

The playlist plays homage to a host of local musicians from Limerick’s vibrant and diverse music scene. A celebration of the diversity of musical genres in Limerick, this playlist features a mix of styles from Irish folk to Indie-rock, dark-pop to hip-hop.  

Families near and far are invited to tune in and enjoy the playlist ahead of the St. Patrick’s Festival celebrations and show some love to our local talents.
