It’s time to get planning for Limerick St. Patrick’s Festival 2025 as Limerick City and County Council invites you to enjoy a weekend filled with culture, creativity, and community.
This year's festival is running from Saturday, March 15th to Monday, March 17th with the theme of ‘A More Fun Limerick,’ offering a vibrant array of activities for everyone to enjoy.
In the mood for something new? Limerick St. Patrick’s Festival 2025 offers a mix of traditional favourites and brand new experiences making Limerick a must visit, fun destination this Bank Holiday weekend.
INIS – The Family Experience is a brand new Irish Music Show at St. Mary’s Cathedral. The Most Dangerous Animal in the World answers the question: “can a sheep dance and sing like a superstar?”
Join storyteller and musician, David Collopy for Tales of St. Patrick by The Limerick Fireside. Kick off your St. Patrick’s Day celebrations with the Céilí Mór at Limerick Milk Market while a newly introduced Post Parade Block Party will keep the positive vibes going after the Limerick City parade on St. Patrick’s Day.
The Limerick St. Patrick’s Festival also features the 53rd International Band Championship this Sunday (March 16th), from midday, a unique event for Limerick, drawing thousands of spectators to enjoy lively musical performances each year. Winners will be announced during a lively musical jamboree in Arthur’s Quay Park following the parade.
There are parades galore across the county too, while Spraoi in the Marquee – Abbeyfeale St. Patrick’s Festival offers a celebration of Irish culture. You can also go antique hunting at the Antiques Art & Vintage Fair in Patrickswell, burn off some energy at a fun run in Croom or enjoy Shamrock Street Shows, Irish Dancing and lot’s more.
