“I’m really looking forward to the Limerick St. Patrick’s Festival celebrations. While the vibrant parades across the county on March 17th will be highlights for many, there is an abundance of other festival events and activities where people can create special memories with family and friends. Limerick really has ‘A Different Kind of Energy’ – it's contagious, it’s edgy and it’s ready to embrace you with open arms.”
The Winner of the BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition 2024, Seán O’Sullivan from Coláiste Chiaráin, will be Parade Grand Marshal for the annual St Patrick’s Day Parade in Limerick city. With over 1500 participants it promises to be a riot of colour, music, dance and good cheer!

The 52nd championship takes place this year on Monday, March 18th. Following the parade there will be a free jamboree of live performances at Arthur’s Quay Park.
