Welcome Centre with Fáilte Ireland Tourist Point
Next to the historic Augustine Abbey ruin (and park), Rathkeale's new Welcome Centre, with a Fáilte Ireland Tourist Point, is located at the Community Centre in The Square, where parking is easy.
The friendly staff help visitors find local attractions, services, and businesses, including information about the nearby Limerick Greenway. They also greet tourists referred by the many Fáilte Ireland and Limerick’s Atlantic Edge European Embrace initiatives.
This historic courthouse and borstal building has parking, toilets and a lift. The Centre provides historic and heritage information about Rathkeale and linked to all other information points within Limerick city and county. Also home to an Audio Visual room capable of presentations and (scheduled) walk-in video conferencing.
