  • Limerick Museum
  • Rollerjam Limerick

Soak up the sights, sounds and tastes of Limerick at the famous Milk Market where you will be spoiled for choice with lots of local tasty treats to enjoy (Fri – Sun).

Time to explore Limerick’s exciting history at Limerick Museum. With free entry into the museum and over 60,000 interesting objects on display, there is lots to see, and a nice way to start the day. Some of the more unusual items worth seeking out include Ireton’s Cat, a mummified cat found on Nicholas Street in the 1890’s and a fragment of the largest meteorite ever to fall in the British Isles! (Mon-Fri)

If you packed the kids’ bikes and scooters enjoy a family cycle along the City Centre to University of Limerick riverbank. This 3.25km walking & cycleway weaves its way along the River Shannon from the Guinness Bridge in the city centre ending at the Boat House at the University of Limerick with plenty of seating along the way for little legs to rest from time to time!

The rugby lover in your life can follow in the footsteps of our Munster heroes by taking a look behind the scenes at the historic Thomond Park Stadium. The interactive museum showcases the proud history of Munster Rugby including an impressive range of memorabilia such as the match ball from the famous victory against the All Blacks in 1978 and the 2006 Heineken Cup trophy.

After dinner, enjoy a family fun escape room experience at Escape Limerick or get your skates on at RollerJam.
