Scenic View House

A bungalow located close to the Tarbert car ferry, providing panoramic views of the Shannon estuary. Ideal touring base en route from Shannon to the Ring of Kerry.  The house is located enroute from Shannon to the Ring of Kerry on the N69.

One of the best features about this attractive little guesthouse is the majestic views it affords across the Shannon estuary. There's also a pleasantly kept garden area where you can wander out and take in this impressive scenery.

Scenic View House has four rooms in total, two of which are en suite and all of which come complete with a hair dryer and tea and coffee making facilities. There's also a private car park, central heating and you can bring your pet along to wander outside.

Staying here means you can enjoy the picturesque town of Glin and its two castles, the medieval Fitzgerald ruins and Glin Castle. If you fancy a game of golf then drive a short distance south along the coast to Ballybunion where you'll find a world class links course. For an interesting slice of maritime history head north to Foynes where you'll find the Flying Boat Museum, which, funnily enough, was also the birthplace of Irish Coffee. There are sandy beaches located in the local vicinity, and Glin Beach is a well known spot for it's fishing opportunities.
