Autumn is the time of year when the cultural scene in Limerick comes alive with exhibitions, events, theatre and family friendly fun taking place across the city and county. A range of exciting and diverse festivals are scheduled with something for everyone from music and art to walking and poetry as well as some spooky season spectaculars. Lumen Street Theatre bring ‘Samhain: Limerick’s Hallowe'en Festival, back to the streets of Limerick from Thursday 24th to Saturday 26th October. This bespoke festival will celebrate local folklore and traditions through talks and workshops, and fun educational events for children that will include spooky storytelling, all set within this ancient part of the city.
