Set on the banks of the Deel River, this playground is a lovely setting for a picnic, and is within walking distance of the historic Askeaton town centre.
The Askeaton Playground at the Askeaton Leisure Centre has a large playground with several state of the art play facilities for children of all ages including children with disabilities.
The play equipment includes flat swings, cradle swings, basket swing, carousel, low level panels, spinning top, rockers, toddler multi play unit, senior multi play unit and roundabout.
The playground is open during daylight hours.
There is seating and ample car parking available.
