30th June sees The Hunt Museum and Cafe reopen with full visitor and staff safety measures in place, new opening times, and a series of exciting events for Summer 2020
The Hunt Museum and Cafe are looking forward to welcoming everyone back from 30th June 2020 at our new opening times. Efforts have gone into making the environment a very safe place to visit with a one-way system, foot controlled sanitisers, protective personal equipment for staff, self guided tours and a redecorated and re-arranged cafe.
With its run extended, thanks to the Irish Costume Archive Project, there is a great second chance to see our Best Costume Goes to… exhibition which has two new costumes to whet the appetite. And in the cafe a beautiful Batik exhibition from local artist Marie Madden Rice called Woodlands.
There are lots of summer events scheduled that observe social distancing needs and make full use of the garden with its marquee against any inclement weather, including:
- Paint a Cobble
- Best Costume Goes To Garden Film Quiz
- Art and Drawing Classes
- Children’s Concerts and Reading hours
- Upcycling workshops, Jazz on Fridays
- #HuntThursdays
and so much more…
To control numbers and maintain social distancing, booking is essential.
Check out huntmuseum.com/whats-on/ for dates and times to book your slots or ring Sinead on 061 312833.
Kids mini-camps - mornings and afternoons - are available but numbers have to be very small, so you need to get booking at huntmuseum.com.
