Taoiseach Leo Varadkar officially opens Limerick’s Regional Athletics Hub in Newcastle West, County Limerick with the Mayor of the City and County of Limerick, Cllr Gerald Mitchell and special guests. The world class facility, developed and operated by Limerick City and County Council, is endorsed by Olympians Thomas Barr and Carolyn Hayes, a native of Newcastle West, who can see the new athletics track from her bedroom window.
