There was great excitement at the launch of this years' County Fleadh Cheoil which was held in the Church of Ireland, Kilfinane on Wednesday night (May 16).

Members of the County Board and representatives of other Comhltas branches in the county attended the launch.

Ciara Flanagan, chairperson of CCE Ballyhoura welcomed everyone and spoke of the excitement in the town as the June Bank Holiday and the Fleadh Cheoil Luimnigh draws near. She made reference to the success of last years' Fleadh Cheoil and acknowledged that the event was only being held in Kifinane again as a result of the enormous support from local businesses, community groups and the general public.

Jim Kelly, chairman of the County Board, congratulated the branch on it's success and wished Ciara and all involved every success with the Fleadh Cheoil.
