As well as a whole host of world-class sporting facilities available for public use, the Arena is also home to a unique and priceless collection of memorabilia, medals, prizes and sporting artefacts.
Cardio-Fitness Centre Services
With over 100 pieces of equipment, the Arena’s Cardio-Fitness Centre is one of the largest and most comprehensive gyms in Ireland. It is well equipped to deal with the needs of all types of individual ranging from the elite sports person to members of the general public. Our mission is to provide the highest possible level of service to each and every one of our diverse users in a safe and motivational training environment.
National 50m Swimming Pool
The National 50m Swimming Pool is Ireland's first Olympic sized pool. It measures 50m x 25m, allowing for long and short course training / competition, and has an adjustable floor at the shallow end, so the depth can be changed to suit the particular activity.
National Strength & Conditioning Centre
The National Strength and Conditioning Centre (NSCC) is a state of the art training facility. It is equipped with the best in functional training equipment, and is manned by expert and qualified personnel. This facility has hosted a wide variety of clients ranging from international teams to club teams and school groups.
