This year, participants in TLC10 are encouraged to bring a friend in making Limerick a cleaner and more environmentally friendly county. The popular tea & coffee gatherings after the clean-up will also be held at locations throughout the city and county.

Sponsored by the JP McManus Benevolent Fund and Limerick City and County Council, TLC has seen over 500 tonnes of litter gathered from the streets by volunteers and event partner, Mr. Binman, since inception in 2015.

Overall participation figures are over the 100,000-mark and include volunteers from all walks of life from schools, colleges and GAA clubs, to Munster Rugby, community, residential groups, businesses, charities, nursing homes and well-known faces locally.

Team Limerick Clean-Up is an initiative in its 10th year with a partnership approach made up of Limerick City and County Council, the JP McManus Benevolent Fund and Mr.Binman. Endorsed by Paul O’Connell, the official partners include Mr Binman, Limerick Leader, Limerick Post, Live 95, I Love Limerick and ELive.
