Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 10 of the Road Traffic Act 2004 that Limerick City and County Council has made an order applying for a Temporary Speed Limit of 50kph and 60kph on the N21 at Adare Junction and Croagh Junction and 50kph on local roads L1422 and L1423 at Tuogh, Adare in the interest of road safety.
This temporary speed limit is required on safety grounds and to facilitate works on the Adare Bypass. The Road Works Speed Limit will be in effect from Tuesday 18th March 2025 for a period not exceeding 1 year. Should the duration exceed said year a new application shall be sought.
Temporary signs outlining the revised speed limits will be placed at the impacted areas.
