Preloved items go on sale in Baby Market in Limerick as part of National ReUse Month

  • Limerick City and County Council

Limerick City and County Council has teamed up The Baby Market for a wonderful preloved Baby Market this weekend. The Baby Market runs events nationwide where parents buy and sell pre-loved baby, children and maternity goods.

If you are an expectant parent, you can save hundreds of euro on nearly new items at a fraction of the cost!

On the day parents of older children will sell their pre-loved goods directly to the public.

More than 20 stalls will be selling buggies, high chairs, cots, clothes, toys and everything else baby, maternity and child related.

They will all be for a fraction of their new price!

You will be able to save money, and reduce the landfill sites, full of unwanted baby products.

Sinead McDonnell, Environmental Awareness Officer with Limerick City and County Council said: “This is a great opportunity for perspective parents, grandparents etc to purchase baby related equipment at a fraction of the new cost and keeps items in circulation."

“We all know that we use high chairs or have toys that are only used for a short time, so why not sell them on if you are not going to be using them anymore.”

To celebrate National ReUse Month there is free entry to the Baby Market Limerick in the Southcourt Hotel, Raheen on the Sunday 21 October from 12pm - 2pm.
