Mayor of Limerick, John Moran, commended the growing popularity of the Jobs Fairs:

“The final Jobs Fair of 2024 represents another great networking opportunity for many. We’ve seen the successes in Moyross, Ballinacurra Weston, and St. Mary’s Park this year, and now it is time for Southill to benefit from the Outreach to Employment Programme. Southill has a fantastic community, and the employers and educational bodies recognise that by coming to meet with the people of Southill and surrounding areas. We know everybody has a different path through education and employment, and the diversity of this event showcases that.”

Joe Delaney, Director of Regeneration, Sports, and Recreation at Limerick City and County Council, added:

“This is the fourth and final event in the series, and each of the other three events has been well received by their respective communities. The variety on offer at Southill Hub on Thursday should appeal to many who are looking to start or take the next step in their respective careers.”
